	Jungle Indie Rock is an independent music blog made to connect bands and followers. Playlists, extended video collections, articles, concerts and above all, the promotion of bands in a friendly context. We also support small independent labels but we never work under commercial terms. Jungle Indie Rock was previously known as "Jimdo Indie Rock Music".

Submissions:	Due to the large number of submissions that we are receiving and our limited capacity to address them, we are no longer accepting submission by email. How to submit to Jungle Indie Rock: 1. Upload your music to your Soundcloud account. 2. Edit your tracks correctly: Band Name - Track Name 3. Share 1 track with "Jungle Indie Rock Submissions" group. JUST 1 TRACK per artist/band. 4. Make sure your profile is edited with your information and it includes your links (Official, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, ...) this will help us to post your music, check more tracks or videos and include all your information correctly. 5. Only official accounts will be considered for posting in our site. 6. Tracks older than 2 months won't be considered, except for those ones included in a new Single/EP/7"/Album. Please avoid emailing us or sending us a private message. If your music is selected we will contact you. Those artists/bands whose work is not selected must understand that the selection is based on our own tastes and our limited space/time. Who We Are

Mar de Miguel-Bonet (Spain, USA) - Founder Editor

As a biologist, I spend most of my time working on science research, reading, writing and designing 3D models. I am expert on flatworms so, yes, I am a strange person :) But I became interested in music as a child and studied Music Theory, Piano and Choral Singing. Although the circumstances steered me into Biology, I have never been cut off from the music.

Motto: Light the flame.
Album: At age 10, I broke my piggy bank to buy the QE2 tape by Mike Oldfield. I still have it.
Anecdote: In folk concerts, people always think that I am the piper girlfriend.

Sunny Eckerle (USA)

I'm a copywriter living and working in Brooklyn, NY. In my free time, I explore on my bike, cuddle my cat, or try to check out as much new music as I can. Prior to living in New York I got my degree in Graphic Design from The Florida State University. During this time, I also worked for the music venue, Club Downunder, in Tallahassee, Florida so I have a background in music writing and event planning as well.

Motto: Eternal Optimism (I have a tattoo of it, actually!)
Album: This month? There are always so many, but I'll admit Brand New will always have a place in my heart.
Anecdote: People often notice that I look a lot like Kira from the Dark Crystal. She is a muppet.

Jordan Ellis (USA)

I'm a Los Angeles based filmmaker. I've written & directed two feature films "Guns Before Butter" and "A Little Crazy". I've shot numerous music videos (Liars, The Caretaker, Deerhunter, Thee Oh Sees,...) and documentaries. I've also worked as a photographer and editor.

Collaboration: Music videos director & editor, photographer, documentarian.

Fresh On the Net: Mar is part of the team of Fresh On The Net and writes the section called "Six Degrees". FOTN is the blog created by Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music).

Nos Gusta La Música: Mar collaborates writing for the Spanish webzine Nos Gusta La Música.
Rock Blog Star: Music project supporting new bands created by the new music platform founded by Rock Star Energy Drink, the original company.

Former Collaborators

Jungle Indie Rock was founded on May 2010 based on the original idea from Mar, Dao, Nick and fm!, adding later other collaborators that had their own projects. They all keep contact with this site, getting involve from time to time when they have a free moment. To all of them I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
